Transfer of agricultural science and technology advances to Sekong province officials

DNO - On the morning of November 17, at Ban Thach ward, the Agricultural Extension Center (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang city) coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Sekong province (Laos) to organize a training course on transferring agricultural science and technology advances for a delegation of technical staff of Sekong province.

The training program on transferring technical advances continued to be implemented for 7 trainees who are management officers of the agricultural sector of Sekong province, taking place from November 16 to 22. The training content includes: surveying agricultural and forestry production planning; supporting seeds, materials and building demonstration models for wet rice production; safe vegetables; corn production, building nurseries for forestry trees and fruit trees, cooperation in protecting and developing sustainable forests...

New scientific and technical knowledge acquired from the training program will help people in Sekong province increase crop and livestock productivity and bring high economic efficiency.

This is the 8th class that the Da Nang City Agricultural Extension Center has coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Sekong Province - Laos to implement recently.
