Flood forecast indicates rising water levels on the Cai River in Nha Trang.

According to the 9:00 AM bulletin on November 18th from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station, over the past 24 hours, rivers in Khanh Hoa province have experienced flooding at alarm levels 2-3, with some rivers exceeding alarm level 3. Currently, the water level of the Cai Nha Trang River and the lower reaches of the Cai Phan Rang River at the Phan Rang hydrological station has dropped below alarm level 1; other rivers in the province still have water levels above alarm level 1.

Forecasts indicate that from the night of November 18th to November 20th, a flood surge will occur on the rivers of Khanh Hoa province, with flood peaks reaching alarm levels 2-3, and some rivers exceeding alarm level 3. Warnings are issued regarding the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas; the impact of heavy rain and flooding on the safety of water reservoirs; and flooding in low-lying areas, riverside areas, and urban areas throughout Khanh Hoa province. The floods could have adverse environmental impacts, threaten people's lives, and cause localized traffic congestion, affecting the movement of vehicles.
