On the morning of November 17, the People's Committee of Lam Son commune ( Khanh Hoa province) said that due to prolonged heavy rain, the Ngoan Muc pass area (also known as Song Pha pass) suffered serious landslides, and vehicles are currently unable to move.
Specifically, from the night of November 16 to the morning of November 17, Lam Son commune had prolonged heavy rain, causing at least 12 landslides to occur on Ngoan Muc pass.
A series of trees and a mass of soil and rocks from the high hill fell onto the road, causing traffic congestion.

Mr. Dinh Van Tri, Chairman of Lam Son Commune People's Committee informed that currently, the entire Ngoan Muc Pass area has been placed with warning signs by the authorities, prohibiting vehicles from passing through the pass.
In addition, this area is at risk of landslides in many other locations, and authorities are urgently mobilizing vehicles and human resources to fix the problem. However, due to the appearance of many landslides and the large volume of earth and rock, the repair will take a long time.
