
According to the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the Phi Xa bridge has completed the construction of abutments M2, T1, and T2, and is currently constructing abutment M1. 14 out of 15 girders have been cast, and two girder spans (spans 3 and 2) have been installed. Regarding the road section, the construction unit has completed the road embankment and the first 10 meters of bridge M2, and has completed the load removal for M1.

The Phi Xa Bridge connects Le Hong and Tu Cuong communes (Thanh Mien district) across the Cuu An River, on the East-West arterial road at km 6 + 833. The bridge is 154 meters long and 12 meters wide. The total construction cost is approximately 48 billion VND.

It is expected that on April 29th, the construction unit will pour concrete for the bridge deck of span 2; on May 8th, they will install the girders for span 1 (the final span); and on May 15th, they will pour concrete for the bridge deck of the final span. The bridge is expected to open to traffic on May 30th, 2024.
