Launching the online contest 'Learn about the Ministry of Justice'

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Ministry of Justice has just announced the launch of the online contest "Learning about the law on the Ministry of Justice" from the beginning of June to mid-July 2025 (starting on June 2, 2025 and ending on July 15, 2025).

The contest aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Judicial Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Judicial Sector, to raise awareness of the whole society about the functions, tasks, roles and important positions of the Judicial sector; the contributions of the Judicial sector over 80 years of construction and growth to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Contest participants: Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad, including officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Ministry of Justice, the Legal Department of the Central Ministries, branches, and organizations; units under the Ministry, Civil Judgment Enforcement agencies at all levels, Departments of Justice of provinces and centrally-run cities, Justice Departments, Justice-Civil Status officials at the commune level; students, trainees, and students studying at schools and academies under the management of the Ministry of Justice.

Exam content: Learn about the history of formation and development of the Vietnamese Judiciary from 1945 to present (historical milestones of the Ministry of Justice in 80 years of construction and development). Role, tasks, functions, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Justice through historical periods. Outstanding achievements and contributions of the Ministry of Justice in the cause of building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state of Vietnam; building and perfecting the legal system.

Laws on a number of fields under the state management of the Ministry and the Justice sector directly related to people and businesses such as: Civil status, nationality, authentication, notarization, property auction, civil enforcement, state compensation, registration of secured transactions, judicial records...

The Contest is organized online on the Ministry of Justice's Electronic Information Portal at: https://moj.gov.vn/Pages/home.aspx and the Contest link is placed on the National Legal Dissemination and Education Electronic Information Portal; Electronic Information Portal of the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement - Ministry of Justice; Electronic Information Portal/Page of the Department of Justice of provinces and centrally-run cities; Electronic Vietnam Law Newspaper and a number of other information pages.

The contest runs from 9:00 a.m. on June 2, 2025 to 12:00 p.m. on July 15, 2025.

To successfully organize the Contest, the Organizing Committee of the Contest requests that legal organizations of ministries, branches, central organizations, units under the Ministry of Justice, Departments of Justice of provinces and centrally-run cities pay attention, mobilize, encourage, and create conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and people in the area under their management to actively respond and participate in the Contest...
