Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, Le Tri Thanh, stated that the sea is not only a valuable natural resource but also a space for livelihood, culture, and the image of the city.

Organizing the beach cleanup campaign is not only an activity in response to World Environment Day (June 5th) and World Ocean Day (June 8th), but also a practical activity leading up to the launch of the movement "All citizens join hands to protect the environment, for a green, clean, and beautiful Da Nang city".
Through this, we aim to spread a spirit of community responsibility, raise awareness of environmental protection, and contribute to building Da Nang into a greener, cleaner, more beautiful, and more livable city.

The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city called on all levels of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations to continue to promote propaganda and mobilize members and the people to participate in environmental protection.
In this context, the City Youth Union continues to promote the pioneering role of young people in environmental protection activities; maintaining volunteer youth teams to clean up the beaches.
Following the launching ceremony, delegates and hundreds of youth union members participated in cleaning up the beach area along Hoang Sa - Le Duc Tho road.
