Launching a campaign to build commune and town police forces capable of fulfilling tasks in the new situation.

On the morning of November 29th, the Provincial Police Department held a ceremony to launch a campaign to achieve outstanding results in further strengthening the construction of commune and town police forces to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation, in chào mừng the Party Congresses at all levels in the People's Police Force for the 2025-2030 term and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Police Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

At the launching ceremony, the provincial police leaders emphasized that, in order to build a police force at the commune and town levels that is truly close to the people, understands the people, and stays rooted in the community, the emulation movement needs to spread throughout the entire political system and among the people; creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition with good and creative approaches.

Accordingly, the Provincial Police leadership requested that police units and localities develop plans to implement the campaign extensively, linking it to their specific functions and duties; and establish appropriate criteria and targets to ensure the campaign truly resonates with people. From there, they should proactively advise on strengthening the Party's leadership over commune and town police; promote solutions to build up the force and ensure improved personnel quality; and actively advise on and mobilize resources to increase investment in infrastructure, equipment, and facilities for commune and town police. In addition, they should actively participate in patriotic emulation movements launched by the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security , and Quang Ninh province; and strengthen propaganda work, highlighting exemplary individuals to motivate, reward, and create widespread impact.

Colonel Tran Van Phuc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police, delivered a speech at the launching ceremony.

The Provincial Police leadership also requested all police officers throughout the province to continue upholding their responsibilities, fostering unity, and resolutely striving to effectively achieve the goals and requirements of the emulation movement; contributing to building comprehensive and capable commune and town police forces that can effectively address security and order issues from the outset and at the grassroots level, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
