Striving to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses before September 2, 2025.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga emphasized: In recent years, with the decisive involvement of the political system from the province to the grassroots, the active participation and support of businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists both inside and outside the province, and the efforts of the people, poverty reduction and housing support for disadvantaged families in the province have achieved many positive results. Specifically, in the period 2021-2024, over 7,000 households in the province have had their houses newly built or renovated, with a total cost of over 900 billion VND, of which socialized funding accounted for nearly 35%; contributing to reducing the poverty rate from 23.45% in 2021 to 10.19% in 2024.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the comrade acknowledged and commended the efforts of Party committees at all levels, the government, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, organizations, individuals, businesses inside and outside the province, and the people of all ethnic groups in the province who have joined forces and contributed effectively to achieving the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in the past period.

In response to the "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" emulation movement launched by the Prime Minister, with the goal of "leaving no one behind," Tuyen Quang province is determined to strive to eliminate all temporary and dilapidated houses in the province before September 2, 2025.
Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga called on agencies, units, organizations, businesses, philanthropists inside and outside the province, and the people to continue to respond and support in spirit and material terms, contributing with the motto "Everyone contributes what they can, everyone contributes their labor, everyone contributes their resources, everyone contributes what they have, everyone contributes what they have," to support the completion of eliminating over 6,000 temporary and dilapidated houses for households in the province in 2025.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province is tasked with providing specific guidance on how to donate, closely monitoring and ensuring that the donated funds are used for the right purpose, effectively, transparently, in accordance with the law, and promptly to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy beneficiary households, and households still facing housing difficulties in the province.
The comrade urged Party committees, government agencies, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at all levels, as well as localities and units, to uphold a high sense of responsibility and act decisively. The implementation process must clearly assign responsibilities to specific individuals, tasks, timelines, and expected results. The role and responsibility of leaders in eliminating temporary and dilapidated housing should be emphasized, ensuring the achievement of the target for eliminating temporary and dilapidated housing set for 2025.
The comrade suggested that media and press agencies should strengthen propaganda efforts to create broad social consensus so that all citizens and the business community support, share, and join hands in assisting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, they should promote awareness and inspire a proactive spirit, so that each citizen understands that, along with the support and assistance of the State and the community, the decisive factor in the success of the program is the will and determination of each individual and disadvantaged household receiving support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
