Bodies of a mother and child found decomposing in Ha Tinh.

At noon on May 27, the leaders of the People's Committee of Cam Duong commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province confirmed the above information to the press.

At around 9 am on the same day, residents of Trung Doai village (Cam Duong commune) were surprised to smell a foul odor emanating from the house of Mrs. Phan Thi P. (born in 1937).

Upon entering the house, residents were horrified to discover Mrs. P.'s body on the bed, while her daughter, Phan Thi N. (born in 1976), was found dead on the porch. The incident was immediately reported to the authorities.

Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police, in coordination with the Cam Xuyen District Police, arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the incident.

It is known that Mrs. P. and her daughter live together. Both are receiving benefits for people with mental illness.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by the police.
