In Ha Tinh province, there were 3 groundbreaking ceremonies for 6 projects, including: the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ha Tinh Museum Construction Project (TDP 2 Nguyen Du, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street) in Thanh Sen ward; the joint groundbreaking ceremony for 4 projects of Vingroup Corporation at Vinhomes Vung Ang Industrial Park in Vung Ang ward; and the groundbreaking ceremony for the Xuan Thanh New Urban Area Project - Phase 1, in Tien Dien commune.
The Ha Tinh Museum Construction Project, invested by the Ha Tinh Provincial Project Management Board for Transportation and Urban Development, is being implemented on an area of nearly 2.3 hectares with a total investment of 305 billion VND. The building features modern, integrated architecture, meeting the requirements for preserving artifacts in the region's harsh climate. The museum building has 4 floors, a construction area of 3,580 m², and a total floor area of nearly 13,000 m².
The Xuan Thanh New Urban Area Project, Phase 1, received investment approval from the Provincial People's Committee under Decision No. 5104/UBND-XD dated August 3, 2020, with Harumi Investment and Development Joint Stock Company as the investor. The project is being implemented in Tien Dien commune, covering an area of 45.5 hectares, with an estimated total investment of approximately 550 billion VND.
Vingroup Group has four projects, including: the Vinmetal Ha Tinh Steel Plant project, covering over 461 hectares. This is a large-scale industrial project applying modern, environmentally friendly technology, contributing to the formation of a synchronized steel production and processing ecosystem in the Vung Ang Economic Zone.
The Ky Trinh New Urban Area project (Song Tri ward), spanning over 84 hectares, will create momentum for the development of a civilized and modern urban area, meeting the demand for high-quality housing and services for experts, workers, and residents in the region.
The Ky Anh Wind Power Plant project has a capacity of 400MW, and the Eco Wind Ky Anh Wind Power Plant project has a capacity of nearly 500MW.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, on behalf of Vingroup, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, General Director of VinMetal, expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of Ha Tinh province, as well as the departments, agencies, and local authorities for their continuous support and assistance in creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented according to plan.
The General Director of VinMetal pledged to make every effort to implement the projects on schedule, ensuring quality, safety, and strict adherence to environmental standards. He expressed confidence that these projects will soon yield positive results and become a new driving force for the province's development in the coming period.
Speaking at the Vinhomes Vung Ang Industrial Park (Vung Ang Ward), the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province, Tran Bau Ha, emphasized that with the determination to create a breakthrough momentum for the new development phase, the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress (2025-2030 term) sets the goal: “Rapid and sustainable development on the foundation of modern industry, high-quality services and smart agriculture; taking industry as the pillar, the Vung Ang Economic Zone as the driving force for growth, linked with the development of the marine economy, seaports, renewable energy, processing and manufacturing, and logistics. Growth must go hand in hand with environmental protection, adaptation to climate change, development of a green economy, and a circular economy. Expand and develop the Vung Ang Economic Zone into a multi-functional economic zone, an industrial and logistics center for the region and the whole country.”
Over the past period, Vingroup and its strategic investors have implemented many large-scale projects in the province, making significant contributions to socio-economic development.
The launch of these projects at today's solemn ceremony marks an important milestone in the implementation and realization of the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress; creating a foundation for Ha Tinh to achieve breakthrough and sustainable development in the future.
To ensure the project proceeds on schedule and is completed and put into production as soon as possible, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province requested that relevant departments, agencies, and localities continue to provide maximum support in terms of administrative procedures, technical infrastructure, and human resources; proactively resolve difficulties and obstacles; and ensure security, order, and social stability in resettlement areas and the project region. Ha Tinh province is committed to always accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for investors; and at the same time, to ensure the project is implemented on schedule and is completed and put into production as soon as possible…
