Tran Cam Tu, Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, chaired a meeting to review the organizational work for the 14th National Congress of the Party.

On the afternoon of December 19th, at the Party Central Headquarters, Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary Tran Cam Tu - Head of the Organizing Subcommittee for the 14th Party Congress - chaired a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Subcommittee to review the organizational work for the 14th Party Congress over the past period and the tasks from now until the 14th Party Congress.

Also attending were members of the Central Committee of the Party, and leaders of various departments, ministries, and agencies who are members of the Sub-committee.

At the meeting, Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Deputy Head of the Standing Office of the Central Committee of the Party, presented a report on the coordination and implementation of organizational work to serve the 14th Party Congress since the meeting at the end of November 2025.

After hearing the reports and speeches, Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu commended the agencies and units for their responsible efforts in successfully completing the assigned tasks. By December 19th, the basic work was progressing according to schedule; this included preparing propaganda slogans, inviting foreign press and international guests; implementing security and safety measures; and decorating and conducting visual propaganda to welcome the Congress…

Along with implementing the propaganda plan before, during, and after the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee noted that at this time, the press agencies should intensify the peak period of information and propaganda, both domestically and internationally, about the great achievements of the country over 40 years of reform and 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress; and deeply publicize the significance and scale of the 14th Party Congress - a major political event with decisive importance for the future development of the country in the new era.

After reviewing the progress of the tasks, Comrade Tran Cam Tu assigned specific tasks and completion deadlines to relevant agencies and units. Emphasizing the importance of ensuring absolute security and safety before, during, and after the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee requested that the upgrading and repair of the National Convention Center (NCC) be basically completed by December 21-22. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi People's Committee were instructed to properly carry out the ceremonial decorations in accordance with regulations at the main hall where the Congress will take place, the National Convention Center area, and the streets of the capital; and to coordinate the preparation of a well-planned artistic program to welcome the event.

Given that the 11th National Emulation Congress (held from December 26-27) and the 14th National Congress of the Party are being held close together and at the same location, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee emphasized the need for decorations to be economical, solemn, and in accordance with regulations. Regarding the press center, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee instructed relevant agencies to facilitate the early installation of equipment by media outlets to ensure they are prepared for their work.

The Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee expressed confidence that the relevant agencies will continue to make efforts to basically complete the organizational work for the Congress by December 31, 2025, and be ready for the final rehearsal before the opening day of the 14th Party Congress.
