On October 25th, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Group, announced that the company had reached a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Vingroup to accelerate the green transformation process in its business operations.

Accordingly, the two sides will introduce electric vehicles and electric buses to serve tourists, provide plastic-waste-free service packages, and promote green tourism tours.

Specifically, in the field of green tourism, Vietravel Corp and Vingroup will research the possibility of introducing VinFast electric vehicles and VinBus electric buses to serve tourist passenger transportation. In addition, the two parties will also research the implementation of green vehicle services in tours, flights, and other suitable green tourism products.

Vinpearl and VinWonders also aim to collaborate with Vietravel to provide plastic-free tourism packages, creating a unique experience for customers. This partnership leverages Vietravel Corp's environmentally friendly tourism ecosystem, including environmentally responsible tourism products and services.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky stated that for the corporation, green tourism is not only a trend but also an indispensable part of its long-term development strategy aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of tourism activities.

Therefore, the shift towards green tourism is not only about achieving set goals, but businesses also recognize it as a practical requirement and a demand from tourists. Vietravel's green tours will utilize VinFast electric vehicles to serve domestic and international tourists, offering a unique experience, raising awareness among tourists, and contributing to reducing emissions into the environment.

"The group's roadmap for developing green tourism products linked to green transportation is based on the development of electric vehicle charging station infrastructure by our partners. Initially, the two groups will jointly build electric vehicle charging station infrastructure and implement a number of green tours and green transportation options during this year's Tet holiday for both international and domestic tourists. We also encourage our employees to use environmentally friendly means of transportation," Mr. Ky said.

Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice President of Vingroup, believes that the cooperation between the two Vietnamese businesses brings customers green experiences and creates new value for Vietnamese brands.

More importantly, both sides are working together to create a sustainable green future and elevate Vietnamese brands in the international market, accompanying the Government in realizing its commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
