So, what do the German players do at their headquarters?
To relieve pressure, the German players prioritize teamwork and create a fun atmosphere. They often play ball-juggling in a circle, and whoever makes a mistake gets their ear flicked by the others. Outside of training, when relaxing, the German stars often gather at the cafe next to The Graylyn Estate hotel. They take photos with fans and locals – an activity rarely seen in previous tournaments, even at EURO 2024 held in Germany.

In the hotel, the German players studied Kimmich's book, "Belonging" (by Owen Eastwood), which reads: Unlock your potential with the rules of cohesion. This is Kimmich's new approach to fostering unity and teamwork, a guide to team spirit, inspired by the Maori, the indigenous people of New Zealand. Unity and focus are what Germany needs most right now.
Along with those activities, the players also divided into different groups for relaxation.
Jamal Musiala, Jonathan Tah, Antonio Rüdiger, and Felix Nmecha usually choose golf carts to travel the approximately 3km distance from the hotel to the driving range. Head coach Julian Nagelsmann, along with most of the other coaching staff, prefer bicycles. His assistant, Benjamin Glueck, is almost always by Nagelsmann's side.
Kimmich and David Raum have completely different cycling styles; they often cycle at a leisurely pace, like a bike ride along the beach. Bayern Munich's two goalkeepers, Manuel Neuer and Jonas Urbig, are frequently seen together, not only on the training ground, but also on planes and while cycling. Urbig wasn't included in the squad list, but he still participates in the team as a reserve.

Another rather unusual activity was that Kimmich and Raum would often teach their teammates their origami skills. They would write the word "EAGLE" on both wings, then Raum would climb onto a chair and leap off. A group of players would gather to play UNO. Almost mandatory team activities included swimming, basketball, and table tennis.
Basically, the atmosphere within the German national team is quite positive, with many new, relaxed, and unconstrained activities. After two wins in the group stage, the German team has been able to shed some of the pressure and focus on their further goals at the 2026 World Cup.
