The "Zero-Cost Market" was a collaborative effort by Buddhist monks, nuns, and philanthropists, featuring 20 stalls. Specifically, essential necessities such as rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, fish sauce, sugar, and milk were provided. The organizers distributed 150 vouchers for the "Zero-Cost Market" to poor and disadvantaged households in the commune. In addition, each household received an extra 100,000 VND in cash. The total value of the gifts was 1 million VND.

This is a meaningful activity that spreads the spirit of compassion and sharing of Buddhism during the Buddha's Birthday celebration, contributing to encouraging and warming the hearts of poor and disadvantaged people.

On behalf of the local government, Ms. Tran Thi Le Thuy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ham Kiem commune, expressed sincere gratitude to the Venerable monks and nuns, Buddhist followers, and benefactors who have always accompanied the locality in caring for the poor and those in difficult circumstances.
