Zero-cost market for the poor in Ham Kiem commune.

The People's Committee of Ham Kiem commune, in coordination with Phap Quang pagoda, organized a "Zero-Cost Market" program for the poor and disadvantaged people in Ham Kiem commune on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday celebration in 2026.

Comrade Ngo Minh Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Ham Kiem commune, together with the people at the "Zero-Cost Market" in Ham Kiem commune.

The "Zero-Cost Market" was a collaborative effort by Buddhist monks, nuns, and philanthropists, featuring 20 stalls. Specifically, essential necessities such as rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, fish sauce, sugar, and milk were provided. The organizers distributed 150 vouchers for the "Zero-Cost Market" to poor and disadvantaged households in the commune. In addition, each household received an extra 100,000 VND in cash. The total value of the gifts was 1 million VND.
