BHG - On the afternoon of November 20, at the Great Hall of the Provincial People's Council - Provincial People's Committee, the 4th Congress of the Provincial Business Association, term 2023 - 2028, took place solemnly with the participation of 150 delegates. Attending the congress on the Central side were comrades: Nguyen Quang Vinh, Party Secretary, Vice President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry ; Nguyen Kim Hung, Vice President of the Central Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Vietnam.

During the past term, the Provincial Business Association has promoted its role as a center of solidarity, representing the legitimate interests of businesses; an important bridge between businesses, entrepreneurs and state management agencies in the area. Thereby, actively contributing to socio-economic development, the business community and entrepreneurs have increased in quantity, quality and scale with 274 members and 8 member organizations. The Association has coordinated to advise and successfully organize Business Coffee Programs and meetings and dialogues between the government and businesses to remove obstacles and improve the investment and business environment. At the same time, actively provide social criticism, participate in giving opinions on planning and reforming administrative procedures. Strengthen support and legal advice for businesses; well organize programs, projects, and training to support business development and startups. Establish a Startup Support Fund, which has supported 5 projects with a budget of 920 million VND. In addition to production and business, the Association's member enterprises have promoted social security and charity activities; connected to support the construction of over 6,700 gratitude houses, supported the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund with over 6.9 billion VND, contributed 16 billion VND to the Provincial Scholarship and Talent Promotion Fund, etc.

Speaking at the congress, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son acknowledged, commended and congratulated the achievements of the Provincial Business Association. At the same time, he requested that in the new term, the Provincial Business Association should continue to perform well its role as a social and professional organization of the business community, bringing legitimate and practical benefits to its members; actively support member businesses to improve their management capacity, innovate production technology, participate deeply in the production value chain, and seek markets; encourage and spread the entrepreneurial spirit, boldly invest, promote the potential and advantages of the province, especially in the fields of agriculture, forestry - trade, services and tourism; perform well the role of representative, bridge between businesses and state agencies, closely follow, listen to, and absorb the opinions of businesses, discover new factors, propose solutions to create breakthroughs in socio-economic development; Build a specific cooperation program to develop the private economy , support businesses and startups, period 2023 - 2028.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son emphasized: The Provincial Business Association is entering a new stage of development, in the spirit of sharing and accompanying the business community, in the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to focus on promoting economic development, accelerating breakthroughs in transport infrastructure; implementing provincial planning, policies to support businesses and startups; promoting digital transformation; improving the quality of human resources; improving the investment and business environment, creating the most favorable conditions for business development.
Speaking at the congress, Vice President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry Nguyen Quang Vinh and Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises Nguyen Kim Hung praised and congratulated the efforts and achievements of the Ha Giang Provincial Business Association in the past term. At the same time, they hoped that in the coming time, the Association would continue to promote its role as a common home for entrepreneurs and businesses, promote connections, take advantage of opportunities in the new period; develop a strong team of entrepreneurs and businesses on par with the goals and tasks of national development; create conditions for businesses to participate in elected bodies; continue to promote propaganda, mobilization, raise awareness and responsibility of the business community, businessmen to unite and be responsible to the community and society; focus on developing party members and building party organizations in businesses.
