The film "Heavenly Treasure," directed by Le Thanh Son, produced by Bluebells Studios and distributed by CJ CGV, is the only film to be screened in IMAX format during the 2026 Lunar New Year.

The film is positioned as an entertaining work with multiple layers of content. On the surface, it has a heist and deception theme with a fast-paced narrative and many unexpected situations. At a deeper level, it's a story about family, about the connection between strangers who are bound together by fate.
The film revolves around Ngoc (played by Phuong Anh Dao), a single mother who chooses artificial insemination to have a child. During a trip to the beach to "get away from it all" and temporarily escape the past, she and her son To unexpectedly encounter Hong (played by Tuan Tran), a free-spirited fisherman who is also the sperm donor for the child. This seemingly coincidental meeting triggers a series of hilarious and heartbreaking events, drawing the three into unexpected adventures.

From the question "Is a father a gift or a challenge?", the script leads the audience through a range of emotions, from humor and suspense to a quiet reflection on family feelings.
The reunion of Tuan Tran and Phuong Anh Dao creates a special appeal. Having previously touched audiences with tearful moments in "Mai," this time they bring a fresh energy, their natural chemistry making the story lighthearted yet profound.

Besides Tuan Tran and Phuong Anh Dao, the film features People's Artist Kim Xuan, Trung Dan, Quach Ngoc Ngoan, Vo Tan Phat, Khuong Le, and child actor Banh Mi…
At the film's premiere in Hanoi, director Le Thanh Son explained the story's structure, detail selection, and approach to the subject matter. One of the most discussed details was the image of the cigar box, an item considered central to the race in the film.
The director stated that the film crew considered the matter very carefully. "This is a film about a heist, where everyone is chasing after a valuable item. It was once considered a gold bar or other precious object. Ultimately, the crew chose cigars because their value, worth billions of dong, is enough to excite greedy people, but to outsiders, it doesn't hold much significance." According to director Le Thanh Son, this detail is symbolic, reflecting the greed and motivations of each character.

Besides the heist element, director Le Thanh Son also shared more about the content direction and message that "Heaven-Sent Treasure" aims to convey. The team worked closely with the marketing department from the very beginning to identify social issues that would resonate with the audience at the time of the film's release.
Actor Tuan Tran also shared the reason for choosing this role. He said that after taking on many psychologically demanding and very difficult roles, the role of Hong in "Heaven's Gift" gave him a feeling of healing and a desire to heal. This is a carefree, lovable character, different from his previous roles.
After receiving much praise for her reunion with Tuan Tran in the film "Heaven-Sent Treasure," Phuong Anh Dao said that this film is for a wide range of audiences. If it receives audience support, the two will continue to work together on more films.

Actor Quách Ngọc Ngoan also surprised everyone by trying his hand at comedy. He admitted that he was initially hesitant, but the script convinced him with its novelty. "I believe this role will bring positive energy to the audience at the beginning of the year," he said.
Meanwhile, Vo Tan Phat likened himself to the "fish sauce bowl" of the film: "The cast and crew are already a delicious main course, I just hope to add more flavor to make the meal even richer." This witty analogy made the audience laugh, perfectly reflecting the film's cheerful spirit.
"Heavenly Treasure" is expected to be a suitable choice for families in the early days of the new year, so that everyone leaves the theater feeling relieved and more connected.
