Lang Ward: Many practical activities during Workers' Month

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Lang Ward Party Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Hien emphasized: "The ward's trade union needs to continue to innovate its content and methods of operation, closely follow the local political tasks, and better care for the material and spiritual lives of its members and workers, contributing to the sustainable development of Lang Ward."

Implementing the theme of the 2026 Workers' Month, "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation and Creativity, Enhancing Labor Productivity," the Lang Ward Trade Union organized many practical activities. A highlight was the "Thank You to the Workers" program, which provided health check-ups and consultations for thousands of union members. Specifically, 400 officials and union members received health check-ups at the Hanoi Center for Disease Control; and approximately 1,700 workers received free check-ups through collaboration with businesses.

In addition, attention is paid to improving the lives of union members by giving gifts to those in difficult circumstances, contributing to motivating and encouraging workers to feel secure in their jobs.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Long, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Ward and Chairman of the Lang Ward Trade Union, the ward's Trade Union has determined that all activities must be strongly oriented towards the grassroots, with union members and workers as the central focus, thereby promptly caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

A highlight of this year's Workers' Month is the establishment of the Ward Trade Union's Digital Transformation Team with 11 members, aiming to promote the application of information technology and artificial intelligence in trade union activities.

In addition, the ward's Trade Union launched two new grassroots trade unions, contributing to expanding the organization and gathering workers in the area. The emulation and reward program was implemented promptly, with many collectives and individuals being commended for their achievements in the workers' and employees' movement in 2025.

In the coming period, the Lang Ward Trade Union will continue to promote innovation in its activities, improve the quality of care for its members, develop the trade union organization, strengthen dialogue, and sign collective labor agreements, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
