Coordinate and spread the movement of All people protecting national security in Huong Tra

In recent times, the political security and social order and safety situation of Huong Tra town has always been stable. The situation of law violations and public disorder in the locality has been controlled. The awareness and perception of the people in implementing the movement of All people protecting national security and order has been increasingly spread and developed widely.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, a resident of Tu Ha ward, shared: "Living in the central ward, where the population density is high and there are many trading exchanges, I always raise my vigilance, contribute to ensuring security and order, and at the same time propagate and mobilize local people to follow."

In Huong Xuan ward, according to the ward Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Giang, under the direction of the ward Party Committee, the movement of All People Protecting National Security has been built and developed with many rich contents and forms, suitable to the specific conditions and circumstances of the residential area. The above activities have helped Huong Xuan build a safe area in terms of security and order, creating a healthy living environment for the people.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra town, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, informed: In Huong Tra, each locality and unit has a flexible approach, closely following the actual situation to build effective models.

Typical examples include 38 shock security teams in communes and wards; 116 boards to mobilize residential groups and villages to be free of crime and social evils... The model of self-managed motorbike taxi teams in the two central wards of Tu Ha and Huong Van; the model of "Self-managed Union to ensure traffic order and safety and say no to drugs" in secondary schools. For localities that are hot spots for mineral exploitation, a model of "self-managed mineral teams" should be built.

At the same time, the Police and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra town coordinated to build and effectively operate 72/72 boards to mobilize residential areas free of crime and social evils, 72 mediation boards in residential areas, 5 people's protection boards; strengthen cluster activities on security and order with districts, towns, Hue city... Associations and unions also built dozens of clubs to prevent and combat domestic violence, prevent and combat crime and social evils with thousands of members participating.

Over 10 years of implementing the Joint Program No. 09 on promoting the movement of All People Protecting National Security (2013-2023 period), the Town Police in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra Town regularly promoted propaganda and mobilized people to participate in the movement of All People Protecting National Security, preventing and combating crimes and social evils in many forms and through many channels, contributing to raising awareness of law enforcement, vigilance, and awareness of property protection among civil servants, public employees, workers and laborers.

From 2013 to present, people have proactively provided the police with over 7,000 sources of information and denunciations on security and order, helping to investigate and discover over 500 criminal cases, arrest and handle over 800 subjects, resolve over 600 cases of law violations; arrest and mobilize 26 wanted subjects, evading execution of sentences; organize the reformation and education of about 1,000 subjects; bring 283 subjects to review in residential areas; help 320 subjects to progress... Education and prevention work for subjects who are slow to progress and at risk of committing crimes has also received attention from all levels and sectors.
