The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the purpose of organizing the exhibition "Vietnam's Cultural Heritage" is to introduce Vietnam's cultural heritage so that the public can better understand the historical, cultural, artistic and scientific values of Vietnam's cultural heritage; contributing to educating the people about tradition, national pride, and awareness of preserving cultural identity, especially the young generation.
The exhibition is also an opportunity to vividly and visually introduce the types of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and documentary heritage typical of Vietnam to domestic and international visitors.
In addition, organizing exhibitions in both the North and the South helps people in different regions have the opportunity to access and enjoy typical cultural heritages throughout the country; reduce the gap in cultural enjoyment between regions, ensuring representativeness and balance in cultural heritage introduction activities.
Through introducing the heritage of different ethnic groups and regions, it contributes to honoring the diversity in unity of Vietnamese culture; promoting exchange, understanding and mutual respect among cultural communities in the country.
