Located in the ancient Kaiserštejnský Palace, in the heart of Prague, the exhibition space seems to be wearing a new coat of brilliant oriental colors. This is the first time Vietnam has brought the breath of its heritage to the heart of Europe, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Czech Republic (1950-2025) and in response to Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).
The event was organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in the Czech Republic, the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic in coordination with the Department of Cultural Heritage - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, as a bridge connecting the past and present, bringing the story of Vietnamese culture closer to the heart of Europe.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam Hoang Dao Cuong affirmed, "The exhibition is not only an opportunity to introduce the rich and diverse beauty of Vietnam's cultural heritage, but also a bridge for the overseas Vietnamese community to find their roots; for international friends to better understand and love Vietnam - where tradition and modernity blend in every breath."

The Deputy Minister said that the purpose of organizing this exhibition in the Czech Republic is to vividly and visually introduce the values of Vietnamese cultural heritage to the overseas Vietnamese community and international friends, through exhibitions, performances and interactions.
Thereby creating opportunities for generations of Vietnamese people living far away from their homeland to understand and be more proud of the historical and cultural traditions of the nation.
The exhibition introducing the unique values of Vietnamese cultural heritage in the Czech Republic is also an opportunity to enhance cultural exchange and international cooperation to promote understanding, respect and further strengthen the relationship between the Vietnamese people and the Czech Republic, continuing to consolidate and promote the friendship and cooperation between the two countries on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Czech diplomatic relations.

In a solemn atmosphere, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Duong Hoai Nam emphasized: “Today, we come here not only to admire the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam, but also to share those values with friends and partners in the Czech Republic, a country with a deep, traditional friendship based on respect, cooperation and mutual understanding.
Vietnam is a land of long-standing, diverse and rich cultural traditions. From ancient pagodas and folk music, to exquisite cuisine and unique handicrafts, each heritage is a thread connecting the past with the present, guiding us to the future.
We are proud that many heritages such as Ao Dai, water puppetry or folk songs have been recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. But more than that, those values always live in the hearts of every Vietnamese person, whether at home or abroad."

The exhibition space is delicately arranged, displaying nearly 200 images, artifacts and precious documents, recreating the journey of preserving and promoting Vietnam's cultural heritage over the centuries.
Four major themes: Heritage conservation policies, traditional festivals, craft villages and the colorful picture of 54 ethnic groups - blend together like a brilliant symphony, immersing viewers in the depth of history and national identity.
Each corner of the exhibition is a small story: the red and yellow colors of the village festival, the echoes of the gongs of the great forest, the sound of the loom in the hands of the craftsmen... All blend into an epic poem about the Vietnamese spirit and soul.
The exhibition is not only for those who love culture, but also a warm invitation to the Vietnamese community living abroad, so that in the heart of Prague, they can still recognize the flavor of their homeland in every color and every brocade.
