In the category of the most beautiful islands in Asia - Pacific in 2025, Phu Quoc is the only representative of Vietnam to be named, excellently ranking third, surpassing many familiar names such as: Palawan (Philippines), Langkawi (Malaysia) or Sumba (Indonesia), only behind Bali (Indonesia) and Koh Samui (Thailand).
Among the islands of Vietnam, Phu Quoc has the largest area, famous for its beautiful beaches such as Bai Kem, Bai Sao with smooth white sand like cream, mild nature and calm sea, clear water.

According to statistics from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, by the end of May 2025, Phu Quoc is estimated to welcome more than 4.5 million visitors, an increase of 33.3% over the same period, reaching 61.1% of the annual plan, including nearly 900,000 international visitors, an increase of 76.7% over the same period.
