On behalf of the leaders of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, welcoming and hosting the President of the Senate of the National Assembly of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil and the high-ranking delegation of the Senate of the National Assembly of the Czech Republic to visit the Academy, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin, Deputy Director of the Academy, expressed her honor to welcome the delegation in the context of the two countries celebrating the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations, and at the same time shared her deep personal feelings for the Czech Republic.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin said that the Diplomatic Academy, with nearly 70 years of establishment and development, is the leading training, fostering and research institution on foreign affairs in Vietnam. To achieve the goal of becoming the leading training and fostering institution in the region and internationally, the Academy considers international cooperation in training and research as a pillar.

On that basis, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin emphasized that the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of Vietnam and the Czech Republic is an important milestone, contributing to promoting people-to-people exchange and strengthening educational and diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy, this Memorandum of Understanding has special significance because the Czech Republic is a country with long-standing strengths in education, training, science - technology, engineering, and environmental technology, and has trained more than 30,000 Vietnamese students over the years.
The Memorandum of Understanding will create a framework for the two Diplomatic Academies to exchange modern teaching methods and research experiences, and open up opportunities for exchanges between students, lecturers and researchers of the two foreign affairs training institutions, through the joint organization of courses, seminars and workshops.
Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy Nguyen Thi Thin expressed her hope that the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic will continue to pay attention and support so that the Memorandum of Understanding will soon become concrete actions, making practical contributions to educational and scientific-technological cooperation, strengthening the Vietnam-Czech Republic Strategic Partnership.

Ms. Dana Kovarikova, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the Czech Republic, affirmed that this memorandum of understanding is not only an agreement but also a symbol of the common vision of diplomatic education and future cooperation between the two countries. She said that this is a strategic step in the context of a rapidly changing world that requires global cooperation, especially in the field of diplomacy. She also emphasized that the continued expansion of educational and training cooperation is the right decision, building on the long-standing tradition when the Czech Republic has trained hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese students, who have later become cultural bridges between the two countries.

Speaking and interacting with students of the Diplomatic Academy after witnessing the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two Diplomatic Academies, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil shared that although the two countries are geographically distant, they are very close in their common aspirations for peace, development and prosperity. President of the Senate Milos Vystrcil emphasized that the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic plays a very important role, becoming a bridge between the two countries.
Informing students of the Diplomatic Academy about the Czech Republic, Senate President Milos Vystrcil emphasized the cooperation opportunities opening up within the framework of the Vietnam-Czech Strategic Partnership and affirmed that the Czech Republic always welcomes students from all countries, including Vietnam, to study in this country.
