According to local reports, continuous heavy rains in recent days have caused a series of landslides, subsidence, and road breaks on many national highways through Lam Dong province. Major traffic routes such as National Highway 20, National Highway 28, and National Highway 27 have all recorded severe damage, posing potential traffic safety risks and isolating many areas.
As of noon on November 21, the damage on national highways was very large, with 24 locations still blocked and flooded; of which, 14 locations were on centrally managed routes and 10 locations were on locally managed highways.
Particularly on National Highway 27C in Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces, there are still 3 traffic jams. Specifically, in the Khanh Le Pass area (National Highway 27C), landslides occurred, completely blocking many locations such as Km43+500, Km47+000, Km65 - Km71... causing traffic jams and vehicles are currently unable to move through. Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa provinces have banned vehicles from traveling on National Highway 27C (Khanh Le Pass) from November 17, 2025.
Traffic diversion plan for vehicles traveling from Nha Trang to Da Lat, from Khanh Hoa follow National Highway 1 to Km1556+00, turn right onto National Highway 27 to Km174+00, turn onto Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway to Da Lat. Or, from Khanh Hoa follow National Highway 26 to National Highway 27 to Da Lat.
The Vietnam Road Administration continues to organize 24/7 command and control of natural disaster prevention and control work, assigning permanent Traffic Management and Organization Departments to be present in provinces and cities in the Central region to coordinate with road management units to organize damage recovery; promptly issue documents directing, guiding and removing difficulties for units; support provinces and cities with human resources, machinery, equipment and spare materials to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in the shortest time.
