On August 2, the Traffic Police Department said that after 2 days of implementing the first vehicle registration using the full online public service on the Public Service Portal or VNeID application, there were 18 successful cases nationwide at home, of which Phu Tho had 2 cases.

From August 1, people can register their vehicle for the first time using the VNeID application.

Specifically, of these 18 cases, 6 are car registrations and 12 are motorbike registrations. By locality, Hanoi has 4 vehicle owners; Phu Tho and Da Nang each have 2 vehicle owners. The remaining provinces: An Giang, Bac Kan, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dak Lak, Dong Thap, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa and Tien Giang each have one case.

According to Circular No. 28/2024/TT-BCA, from August 1, 2024, people will register their vehicles for the first time using the full online public service for domestically manufactured and assembled vehicles on the public service portal or national identification application.

After completing the registration, you can receive the license plate and documents by post . To complete the procedure, people need to have a level 2 identification account, a bank account for online payment, and follow steps such as taking photos of the vehicle and related documents as required by the application.
