Phuc Thuan creates momentum for a breakthrough.

As the new spring arrives, Phuc Thuan ward also looks back on a year full of significant achievements. 2025 marks the first year the locality operates under the new local government model, placing higher demands on governance, administration, and the quality of service to the people.

Thanks to the unity in awareness and action of the entire political system of Phuc Thuan ward, the effectiveness of governance is gradually being demonstrated through concrete results. By 2025, the total value of production in the ward is estimated to reach 1,581 billion VND. Of which, industry and construction will reach 560 billion VND; trade and services 511 billion VND; and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries 410 billion VND. The economic structure continues to shift in a positive direction, reflecting efforts to expand development space and improve the quality of growth.

State budget revenue in the area reached 68.6 billion VND, equivalent to 176% of the assigned plan. This result demonstrates the effectiveness in managing and exploiting revenue sources and the recovery of production and business activities. Average per capita income reached 72 million VND/year, exceeding the set plan, and people's living standards continue to improve.

In economic development, Phuc Thuan ward identifies agriculture as still playing an important role, but it must develop in a direction that increases added value. By 2025, the total grain production is expected to reach 6,821 tons; the value of products per hectare of cultivated land and aquaculture will reach 129 million VND/year. Tea cultivation will continue to be expanded with 17 hectares of new and replanted tea, achieving 113% of the plan; forest planting will reach 45 hectares, raising the forest cover rate to 65%. Livestock farming will remain stable with a total herd of over 358,000 head; disease prevention and control will be implemented comprehensively.

Along with developing production, Phuc Thuan ward focuses on investing in essential infrastructure. Over 30 billion VND has been mobilized from the state budget and the consensus of the people to build and upgrade transportation routes, public works, and community cultural centers, creating a clear transformation in the appearance of both urban and rural areas.

The socio-cultural sector continues to receive attention. The "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement has spread widely, with 52 out of 57 residential areas achieving the title of "Culturally Rich Neighborhood," and 95.5% of households recognized as "Culturally Rich Families." The poverty rate has decreased to 1.17%. Education remains stable with 100% of schools meeting national standards; 95% of the population participates in health insurance.

Taking citizen satisfaction as a benchmark, the ward is promoting administrative reform linked to digital transformation. To date, 18,692 citizens have activated level 2 electronic identification accounts; over 91% have integrated electronic health records; and nearly 80% have installed public digital signatures, creating a foundation for building a digital government from the grassroots level.

Entering 2026, Phuc Thuan ward has set the goal of sustainable growth coupled with quality improvement. The focus is on continuing to restructure the economy, with services and industry playing a leading role, and agriculture developing towards commodity production and increased value. The ward aims for an industrial and construction production value of over 641 billion VND; trade and services of approximately 592 billion VND; and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries of over 422 billion VND.

Alongside economic development, the locality focuses on investing in infrastructure, improving the living environment, promoting administrative reform and digital transformation; ensuring sustainable social security, raising average income to approximately 80 million VND/person/year; and maintaining national defense and security, social order and safety.

The new spring marks the beginning of a new chapter. Building upon the foundation already established and with the consensus of the people, Phuc Thuan enters 2026 with a proactive and steadfast attitude, determined to build a dynamic, civilized, and livable locality.
