On the morning of March 28, traffic congestion occurred on Pham Van Dong street, passing through Linh Tay and Linh Dong wards (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City).

The traffic jam occurred around 7:30 a.m., the heaviest was on road number 9 to the intersection of Pham Van Dong - To Ngoc Van, towards Linh Xuan overpass to Binh Loi bridge. Motorbikes and cars lined up nearly 2 km long on the road. Some motorbikes even drove onto the sidewalk but could not escape the crowd of vehicles.
According to people's feedback, they have moved normally these past few days. “I don't understand why there's such a terrible traffic jam today! It's been more than half an hour but I haven't been able to walk 1 km" - Mr. D.L (living in Binh Duong province) said.

The Hang Xanh Traffic Police Team said the reason was due to a sudden increase in the number of vehicles passing through the above road this morning, but people were still able to move slowly.
"We have arranged 4 officers to divide and regulate traffic" - said the leader of the Hang Xanh Traffic Police Team.
