Poco F7 launched with outstanding power, low price

Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco has just introduced the mid-range smartphone Poco F7 with impressive hardware power when looking at the price.

Poco F7 is considered the standard version in the F7 product line, which is lower than the two previously launched F7 Pro and F7 Ultra versions. Although it is the lowest-end version, Poco F7 is still equipped with powerful hardware that promises to bring top performance at an affordable price.

Poco F7 is priced from 339 USD (8.8 million VND) in the first phase of sale.

Poco F7's superior power compared to its segment

The Poco F7 features a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports a 480Hz touch sampling rate, a maximum brightness of up to 3,200 nits, and is HDR10+ certified. In particular, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and integrates Wet Touch Display 2.0 technology that allows for response even when hands are wet.

In terms of design, the Poco F7 is different with the Cyber Silver version that comes with a two-tone back. The top half has fake vents and circuit-like components, while the bottom half is a glossy silver color with the Poco logo. In addition to the Cyber Silver version, the device also comes in white and black options, all with a glass back and a metal frame.

The Poco F7's rear camera is a dual setup with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, a 20MP selfie camera is hidden in the punch hole in the center of the display.

Inside, the Poco F7 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip that promises to deliver 31% more performance and up to 49% better gaming performance than the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on the Poco F6. It runs on Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS interface, with a commitment to receive 4 major Android updates and 6 years of security patches.

The Poco F7 packs a 6,500 mAh battery in most markets, while in India, it comes with a larger 7,550 mAh battery. However, both versions support 90W wired charging. Other features include IP66/IP68/IP69 certification for dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Poco F7 is priced at $399 for the 12/256GB configuration or $449 for the 12/512GB configuration. However, during the opening sale phase, users can buy the device for $339 and $399 respectively.
