This victory concludes an impressive journey for PSG, who overcame a relatively unremarkable group stage to dominate the knockout rounds, scoring a remarkable 45 goals – a new Champions League record. The title also makes coach Luis Enrique one of the few managers to have won the Champions League three times.
More importantly, with this victory, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) made history by becoming the first French team to successfully defend the UEFA Champions League title.

PSG will win the Champions League in 2025-2026.
For Arsenal, this defeat further extends their woes in European competition. The London club has lost all five of their most recent European Cup finals and remains the club with the most appearances in the Champions League without ever winning the title.
