On July 5, 2025, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, together with the Youth Union of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), officially launched the pilot version of the P-Coin Green Credit System, a pioneering step in applying and deploying blockchain technology in the higher education environment.

Leaders and representatives from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the PTIT Youth Union launched the pilot version of the P-Coin Green Credit System.
Pioneering the testing of blockchain technology.
In line with Resolution 57/NQ-CP and the Law on Digital Technology Industry, which encourages educational institutions to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital technology sector, attract investment, and implement a "sandbox" pilot program in higher education institutions, the PTIT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center has developed and launched the P-Coin Green Credit System. This is considered a pioneering step, making it the first university to experiment with blockchain technology aimed at practical applications and encouraging a green lifestyle on campus.
Participating in the launch of the P-Coin pilot version, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Deputy Director of PTIT, emphasized the P-Coin Green Credit System. This is a significant milestone marking the journey of innovation, digital transformation, and scientific research of the lecturers and young members of the Academy.

Associate Professor Tran Quang Anh believes that P-Coin will soon become a "digital companion" for PTIT students.
PTIT is proud to be one of the pioneering institutions in the fields of training, scientific research, and technology transfer, especially in cutting-edge areas such as information technology, communications, cybersecurity, and digital technology. PTIT clearly recognizes that, to thrive in the digital age, higher education cannot stand aside but must boldly experiment, innovate, and apply new technologies to teaching practices and academic life.
The P-Coin green credit system is not just a simple digital technology application; it embodies the aspiration to build a dynamic and civilized school community, a green, sustainable learning environment rich in community spirit. Through P-Coin, good deeds and positive habits such as cycling, picking up trash, planting trees, and donating blood will be recognized with this friendly and humane "digital currency." This is how young lecturers at PTIT bring technology closer to real life, transforming each good deed into a part of PTIT students' digital culture.
In its initial pilot phase, the P-Coin green credit system is integrated with the Green Edu Bike app to encourage the use of bicycles for commuting between the Academy's campuses. This is a green transportation model that helps reduce pollution, improve health, and contribute to spreading a green lifestyle among students.
With a long-term vision and a clear roadmap, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Anh believes that P-Coin will soon become a "digital companion" for PTIT students, contributing to building a smart, modern, and sustainable learning environment.

Towards a digital university, a green university.
The P-Coin green credit system is a groundbreaking initiative combining blockchain technology with activities that encourage a green lifestyle on campus. It has no monetary value, is not subject to buying, selling, or speculation, and fully complies with Vietnamese law.
P-Coin is designed as an internal digital credit system where positive activities such as cycling, litter picking, tree planting, or voluntary blood donation are recorded and converted into P-Coin reward points. These activities are encouraged to be widely implemented across all nine campuses of the Academy, with the expectation that nearly 30,000 students, staff, and faculty members will participate starting from the 2025-2026 academic year.
Through this project, PTIT aims not only to test advanced digital technology but also to build a green, healthy, and innovative learning environment where students are encouraged to act for the community and develop skills in the digital space.

Students can exchange P-Coins for drinks.
Sharing about the project's next development plans, Dr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Head of the Department of Science and Technology Management and International Cooperation, and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, said that the P-Coin ecosystem will continue to expand in scale and functionality, aiming to build an internal digital finance platform, integrating digital assets, activity credits, and a modern academic interaction platform for the PTIT student community.
