In the first six months of 2024, PVFCCo's total sales volume of fertilizers and chemicals exceeded targets and grew by 5%-20% compared to the same period in 2023.

Specifically, the total fertilizer sales volume of the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) is estimated at 694,400 tons, an increase of 5% compared to the same period in 2023 and reaching 106% of the plan for the first six months of the year; the total chemical sales volume is estimated at 63,600 tons, an increase of 20% compared to the same period in 2023 and reaching 108% of the plan for the first six months of the year.

PVFCCo achieved impressive export growth, with urea export volume reaching nearly 100,000 tons, a 50% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

The strong growth in consumption mentioned above is due to PVFCCo maintaining a safe and stable production pace, as well as continuously and successfully expanding into new products and markets.

In the first six months of 2024, PVFCCo produced approximately 553,000 tons of fertilizers and chemicals, a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

In addition, PVFCCo has actively developed new NPK product lines, notably the Phu My 20-10-10+TE NPK line specifically for sugarcane and fruit trees, helping to achieve a sales volume of over 80,000 tons of Phu My NPK in the first six months of 2024, a 12% increase compared to the same period in 2023, despite more challenging market conditions this year such as prolonged drought and saltwater intrusion, which delayed the planting season and reduced fertilizer consumption.

PVFCCo's exported urea products are highly valued by international customers because they meet specific and stringent standards.

PVFCCo also achieved impressive growth in exports, with urea export volume reaching nearly 100,000 tons, a 50% increase compared to the same period in 2023, and the average export price of urea by PVFCCo also increased by more than 8% compared to 2023.

In particular, PVFCCo's exported urea products are highly valued by international customers because they meet specific, stringent quality standards and offer flexible delivery times.

In the last six months of the year, PVFCCo will supply approximately over 650,000 tons of fertilizers and chemicals of all kinds, continuing to develop new product lines and international markets to best fulfill the 2024 annual plan.
