Inspired by President Ho Chi Minh's teaching, "Let's give the best to children," over the years, the Party Committee and government of Ba Dinh district have always given priority to leading and directing the cause of education and care for children and young people.
With the involvement of the entire political system, many practical activities and safe playgrounds have been organized, contributing to guiding children towards a healthy lifestyle, keeping them away from social evils, and preventing them from violating the law. Every child has the right to live and develop in a safe, healthy, friendly environment and to be protected from harm and discrimination; children in difficult circumstances are given the opportunity to develop equally in all aspects.
In response to the 2025 Action Month for Children with the theme "Prioritizing resources, achieving goals for children," Vice Chairman of the Ba Dinh District People's Committee Pham Thi Diem requested that immediately after the district's launching ceremony, the 13 wards organize ward-level launching ceremonies for the Action Month for Children, ensuring completion before May 30th.
The People's Committee of Ba Dinh District requests that wards organize specific, practical activities in response to the Action Month, appropriate to the actual situation in their respective units. In particular, the district should strengthen the dissemination of information on preventing child abuse and preventing child injuries, especially drowning accidents among children.
The People's Committees of the 13 wards also coordinated with relevant units and mobilized social resources to effectively implement health care programs for children during the Month of Action for Children.
In addition, areas within Ba Dinh district will organize cultural, recreational, entertainment, and sports activities with beneficial content and diverse forms for children...

At the ceremony, the leaders of the District People's Committee presented gifts to representatives of children from 13 wards; gave gifts to children from disadvantaged backgrounds who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies; awarded prizes for the Ba Dinh District Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025; and conducted screening for motor disabilities and congenital heart defects in children, along with organizing communication activities on preventing and combating child abuse in families and communities.
