Ba Dinh District launched "Month of Action for Children"

Imbued with President Ho Chi Minh's teaching "Give the best to children"; over the years, the Party Committee and the government of Ba Dinh district have always paid attention, given priority to leadership and direction for the causeof education and care for children.

With the participation of the entire political system, many practical activities and safe playgrounds have been organized, contributing to orienting children towards a healthy lifestyle, avoiding social evils and not violating the law. All children have the right to live and develop in a safe, healthy, friendly environment and to be protected from abuse and discrimination; children in difficult circumstances are given equal conditions to develop in all aspects.

Responding to the Month of Action for Children 2025 with the theme "Prioritizing resources, completing goals for children", Vice Chairwoman of Ba Dinh District People's Committee Pham Thi Diem suggested that immediately after the district's launching ceremony, 13 wards organize the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children at the ward level, ensuring completion before May 30.

The People's Committee of Ba Dinh District requested the wards to organize specific and practical activities in response to the Action Month, suitable to the actual situation in the unit. In particular, the district will strengthen propaganda content on preventing and combating child abuse and preventing and combating child injuries, especially drowning accidents in children.

The People's Committees of 13 wards also coordinated with relevant units to mobilize social resources to effectively implement health care programs for children during the Month of Action for Children.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the District People's Committee presented gifts to representatives of children in 13 wards; presented gifts to children in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well; awarded prizes for the Ba Dinh District Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in 2025 and screened children for motor and congenital heart defects along with a media organization on preventing and combating child abuse at home and in the community.
