All opinions were seriously received and satisfactorily responded to by the Party Committee and commanders of agencies and units, thereby creating high consensus and unity within the entire force.
After implementing the organizational merger according to the policy of streamlining the apparatus, the City Military Command has proactively arranged stable working places, meals and accommodation for officers and soldiers; ideological and organizational work has also been ensured in a timely manner and in accordance with regulations.

In his speech, Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai highly appreciated the careful preparation, complete report content, focused comments, demonstrating responsibility and spirit of unit building.
He emphasized: Implementing democracy at the grassroots level is not only a political requirement, but also a key factor to improve the overall quality and fighting strength of the armed forces. Democracy must go hand in hand with discipline; democracy must be implemented substantively, not in formality, without avoiding hot, pressing issues from the grassroots level.

Regarding the upcoming tasks, the Political Commissar of the Military Region requested the Can Tho City Military Command to focus on completing the defense area drills at the units selected as the Military Region's focal points, and continue to effectively implement documents on implementing democracy in the Army.
At the same time, it is necessary to strongly apply information technology in ideological work and troop management, moving towards deploying the models of "digital political commissars" and "digital soldiers" to grasp the ideological situation and aspirations of soldiers, and promptly handle problems arising from the grassroots.
