In Ban Thach ward, many students and residents were excited to experience visiting historical sites through digital technology for the first time. Without having to go there in person, viewers can observe the entire scene, rotate their view 360 degrees, and zoom in on details of artifacts or architectural spaces through their mobile devices.
Nguyen Doan Thien Phu, a student at Nguyen Binh Khiem Specialized High School (Ban Thach Ward), shared that virtual reality technology makes learning about history less dry. "All the images appear realistic, creating the feeling of being at the historical site, allowing me to interact directly with the digital space and better appreciate the historical value of each location," Phu expressed.

According to Mr. Vo Van Thanh, Deputy Director of MobiFone Da Nang's Digital Solutions Business Center (the project implementing unit), VR360 technology allows the digitization of real-world spaces into highly realistic virtual spaces. The unit collaborated with local authorities to survey typical historical sites, develop scenarios, and record footage using specialized equipment. Thanks to its high interactivity, the product stimulates users' desire to learn about and directly visit these sites.
In the initial phase, key historical sites in Ban Thach ward, such as Van Thanh - Khong Mieu, Ky Anh tunnel, and the house of martyr Pham Sy Thuyet, have been digitized and assigned QR codes.
According to Truong Ngoc Hai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ban Thach Ward, applying digital technology to the preservation and promotion of historical relics is a step in line with the trend of digital transformation, aiming to innovate traditional education methods. In the future, the locality will continue to expand digitalization and strengthen communication to bring these products closer to the community.
