In late spring and early summer, the yellow flowers of the banyan tree bloom, making the tree look like a giant umbrella covering a corner of the sky. It has become a popular check-in spot for many people who want to relive their childhood and the old banyan tree-lined path to school.

The rice-growing countryside of Le Thuy district, province Quang Binh There are still quite a few ancient banyan trees, as well as some that have recently sprung up. The banyan tree, a name that sounds rustic and somewhat delicate, is actually a sturdy and robust tree that can withstand floods, droughts, and even storms in central Vietnam. Currently, in Loc Thuy commune, the hometown of General Vo Nguyen Giap, there is a banyan tree that is hundreds of years old, casting its shadow over the cool, green Kien Giang river.

The bamboo tree originates from Japan and Australia, but is abundant in provinces and cities in the North Central region of Vietnam, such as Quang Binh and Hue . Although it's a fairly sturdy and robust woody plant, its branches are particularly flexible, becoming a "tool" for us children to swing on every afternoon while swimming in the Kien Giang River during our childhood.
During the flowering season of the Bauhinia flower, the Kiến Giang riverbank in An Xá village, Lộc Thủy commune, the hometown of the legendary general, becomes a popular spot for people to check in and take souvenir photos with this humble flower.
The cassia flower has delicate petals of alternating white and yellow. From March to April, the cassia trees in Le Thuy bloom, painting the sky a vibrant yellow.
When in bloom, the stamens protrude like spiderwebs.
In Loc Thuy commune, the banyan tree grows along the riverbanks, in front of the fields, and beside the village roads. In spring, under these flowering umbrellas, children play, and older people reminisce about their childhood school days with a branch of banyan flowers in their hands.
Towards the end of the season, just before the beginning of summer, the flowers of the rice plant gradually turn a deep yellow, and then form oval-shaped, ivory-white rice-like fruits that hang abundantly on the tree.
