Mr. Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial Civil Defense Command of Quang Tri province, personally inspected the affected areas such as Truong Ninh and Ninh Chau communes.

In Truong Ninh commune, more than 500 households with approximately 1,600 people were severely flooded, with water levels exceeding 1 meter in many areas. Dong Tu village was the most heavily affected. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited the area, provided relief supplies, and instructed local authorities to "ensure that no household lacks food, clothing, or safe housing."

In Ninh Chau commune , Mr. Tran Phong inspected the shelter at the community center in Huu Tan village, requesting that sufficient food, clean water, and medicine be provided, with a focus on healthcare for the elderly, children, and pregnant women. He also emphasized environmental cleanup and disinfection after the flood, and the need for accurate damage assessment to ensure timely support.

Currently, the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard maintains 41 teams/155 officers and soldiers along with 3 canoes on duty at flooded areas, coordinating with local authorities to assess landslide risks, assist in evacuating people, and ensure absolute safety for people and property.
