Quang Yen: Thorough preparations for the grassroots Party congress.

In implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Quang Yen Town Party Committee has focused on preparing for grassroots party congresses in accordance with regulations, ensuring the progress and plan are met.

The Party Committee of Yen Giang Ward (Quang Yen Town) is implementing tasks to prepare for the Ward Party Congress.

The Party Committee of Yen Giang Ward has been selected by the Standing Committee of the Quang Yen Town Party Committee to organize a pilot grassroots Party congress in the area, scheduled to be held in early March. To prepare for the Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the Ward Party Committee has developed a plan for organizing the congress, directing preparatory work in accordance with the regulations and principles of the Party, especially the principle of democratic centralism, promoting the rights and responsibilities of the Party committee, Party organizations, and Party members.

According to Le Thi Ngoc Linh, Secretary of the Yen Giang Ward Party Committee: The Yen Giang Ward Party Committee was selected as the model unit for organizing the grassroots-level Party Congress in the town. Preparations for the Ward Party Congress have been thorough, both in content and form. All preparations are now complete, ready for the congress to proceed as planned. The Ward Party Committee is focusing on developing tasks and solutions in Party building, strengthening the political system, improving the quality of activities of grassroots Party organizations, and building "Four Good Party Branches"; focusing on economic development to create momentum for the new term. Personnel preparation has been carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations; all re-election and candidacy cases have been carefully reviewed to ensure all standards are met. Particular attention is paid to young cadres and female cadres with professional qualifications, aiming to build a leadership team with the capacity and qualifications to meet the increasingly demanding tasks in the next term.

The Party Committee of Tien An commune (Quang Yen town) has organized the installation of colorful banners and posters to welcome the Party congresses at all levels.

To date, Tien An commune has completed 15 out of 15 targets set in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Simultaneously, the commune is striving to complete the criteria for becoming a ward. These achievements and goals serve as a driving force, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere of emulation and achievement to welcome the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term among all cadres, Party members, and people in Tien An commune.

Ms. Bui Thi Hue, Party Branch Secretary and Head of Gieng Meo village (Tien An commune), shared: Looking forward to the commune's Party Congress, the people of Gieng Meo village are very enthusiastic, raising awareness in environmental sanitation and beautifying village roads and alleys. Cadres, Party members, and people in the village have voluntarily contributed over 50 million VND to renovate and expand the village's internal roads and build a nearly 700-meter-long street lighting system. Party members and people in the village trust and expect the commune's Party Congress to be successful, selecting worthy leaders to carry out the task of socio-economic development and improve the lives of the people.

To ensure the conditions for organizing the 19th Party Congress of Tien An commune, term 2025-2030, the Tien An Commune Party Committee has focused on leading and directing 21 subordinate Party branches to complete their congresses early, starting from December 12, 2024. Currently, the commune is urgently completing the preparations for the Party Congress of the ward, which will take place in March.

According to To Duy Tong, Secretary of the Tien An Commune Party Committee: With clear guidance on personnel, tasks, and timelines, preparations for the Commune Party Congress have been largely completed. The Commune Party Committee places special emphasis on setting goals for the new term based on the local situation, assessing advantages and disadvantages to focus on economic development and improving the lives of the people. This includes focusing on solutions to strive for Tien An to become a ward by 2025. The Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Commune Party Committee have reviewed the staff of officials and civil servants, paying particular attention to young, qualified individuals to assign them to various departments and mass organizations, thus structuring the cadre pool for the next term.

The concrete road and street lighting system, nearly 700 meters long, in Gieng Meo village is a project to celebrate the Tien An Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Quang Yen town has 46 grassroots Party branches and committees with 335 subordinate Party branches. To date, 100% of the subordinate Party branches have completed their congresses. This is an important prerequisite for the successful organization of the grassroots Party congresses, leading up to the 22nd Party Congress of Quang Yen town, for the 2025-2030 term.

According to Tran Duc Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Yen Town: Currently, the Town Party Committee is focusing on directing grassroots Party committees to develop and finalize plans on personnel matters, directing the organization of pilot grassroots Party congresses in March and simultaneously holding grassroots Party congresses in April. The Town Party Congress is expected to be held in the third quarter of 2025. The Town Party Committee is also directing units and localities to implement projects to celebrate the Party congresses at all levels. Communes and towns are stepping up urban beautification, improving village roads and alleys; promoting and launching many practical emulation movements, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere among the people. The locality has also selected 80 projects to celebrate the Party congresses at all levels; determining that the organization and preparation of the congresses must follow the motto of inheritance, stability, innovation, creativity and development, while promoting democracy while upholding principles, prioritizing quality and effectiveness.
