Clause 1, Article 16 of Decree No. 238/2025/ND-CP dated September 3, 2025 of the Government stipulates that the subjects eligible for a 70% reduction in tuition fees include: Students studying traditional and special arts in vocational training institutions, public and private universities with training in culture and arts, including: Traditional opera musicians, Hue traditional musicians, Southern amateur music, opera actors, folk performing arts, Ca Tru art, Bai Choi art, traditional musical instrument performances.
Students studying royal court music, opera, tuong, cai luong, dance, circus; and some arduous, toxic, or dangerous occupations in vocational education according to the list of arduous, toxic, or dangerous occupations prescribed by the State management agency of vocational education at the central level.
Students in vocational education institutions and universities who are ethnic minorities (except for very small ethnic minorities) and who themselves and their parents have permanent residence in a particularly difficult village/hamlet, a commune in region III of ethnic minority and mountainous areas, a particularly difficult commune in the coastal and island areas according to regulations of competent authorities.
Based on the above regulations and according to your letter, if the student (your child) meets the above conditions, he/she will receive a 70% tuition reduction.
