Good news from coach Truong Minh Sang at the 2026 Challenge World Cup: Athlete Quynh Nhu overcame many strong opponents to win the gold medal with a score of 13.175, "opening the scoring" for the Vietnamese gymnastics team.
The gold medal is a historic milestone for Quynh Nhu and the Vietnamese gymnastics team . For Quynh Nhu personally, she had previously won a silver medal in the vault at the Asian Championships, and this time, the gold medal is well-deserved and a source of pride.

Quynh Nhu was born in 1998 in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2022, she won her first silver medal at the 31st SEA Games on home soil (women's team, women's individual vault). The World Cup gold medal is the highest achievement in the competitive career of this athlete from Ho Chi Minh City.
The Vietnamese gymnastics team, consisting of five athletes (Nguyen Van Khanh Phong, Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien, Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu, Vu Tien Anh, and Nguyen Phuoc Hai), will participate in the 2026 Challenge World Cup in Uzbekistan from May 21st to 24th, competing in both men's and women's events. This is the first international competition of 2026 for the Vietnamese gymnastics team.
At this tournament last year in Bulgaria, Khanh Phong won a silver medal in the rings event, and Xuan Thien won a gold medal in the pommel horse event. These are both key athletes who have brought many achievements to the Vietnamese gymnastics team.
