According to Cadena SER , President Florentino Perez believes that the signing of Erling Haaland will help restructure the club's attack. The Norwegian striker is expected to combine with Kylian Mbappe to form a formidable attacking duo.

Real Madrid had pursued Haaland for several years. However, after the striker extended his contract with Man City in January, "Los Blancos" decided to abandon the deal. Nevertheless, Real Madrid still consider Haaland the ideal center forward who could lead the club's attack in the future.
