Connecting resolutions with practice.

The 2026 City-level Competition for Excellent Speakers and Propagandists has completed its preliminary and regional rounds. In Cam Le ward, teacher Nguyen Quoc Luat (Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School) excellently won first prize in the competition.

Professor Luat presented a thematic paper titled "40 Years of Renovation - Historical Milestones and Aspirations for Advancement in the New Era." Choosing an argumentative writing style, with rigorous reasoning and thorough preparation, Professor Luat's paper effectively conveyed knowledge and created a ripple effect by connecting major national issues with local realities and current educational tasks.

According to Mr. Luat, the content of the competition is closely related to professional teaching work. In the context of comprehensive educational reform, raising political awareness and fostering revolutionary ideals in students is an important task for the school.

Therefore, applying the knowledge gained from the competition to educational work is of great importance in shaping ideology, helping students raise their awareness, and fostering a desire to contribute and develop civic responsibility in the new era.

At the preliminary round of Cluster No. 4 held in Tra My commune, La Thi Thanh Thuy, an officer of the Party Committee Office of Nam Tra My commune, excellently won first prize, surpassing 12 other contestants.

Ms. Thuy chose a topic closely aligned with the three breakthrough tasks outlined in the Resolution of the First Party Congress of Nam Tra My Commune, term 2025-2030. The topic focuses on solutions to leverage the inherent strengths of culture and people to implement tasks related to human resource development, new rural construction, and local economic development.

According to Ms. Thanh Thuy, in order to achieve sustainable development in Nam Tra My, it is necessary to improve the quality of grassroots officials, especially local youth, to meet the requirements of their tasks.

Furthermore, emphasis should be placed on changing people's perceptions and mindsets; fostering a spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, and aspiration for progress within the community. This task requires the synchronized involvement of the entire political system to create significant changes in socio-economic development.

“After the competition, I continued to edit and condense the thematic content to serve the dissemination of resolutions in villages and residential areas. This also helped me improve my communication skills, create a sense of closeness and clarity, and help people access the Party's policies effectively,” Ms. Thanh Thuy shared.

Improve the quality of the workforce.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Phuong, Head of the Party Building Committee of Cam Le Ward, in the coming time, the locality will continue to promote the dissemination of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term to cadres, Party members and all strata of the people.

"For the contestants who achieved high results in the competition, the locality will continue to train and improve their communication skills, building a force of capable speakers and propagandists who always connect theory with practice. This will be the core force participating in disseminating the resolution at educational institutions, residential areas, and mass organizations in the area," Ms. Phuong said.

Ms. Vu Thi Nhu Thuyen, Head of the Party Building Committee of Nam Tra My commune, said that the locality will continue to focus on building and training a team of capable, courageous, and skilled speakers and propagandists to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new period.

This includes creating opportunities for this team to participate in training, improve their oral communication skills, their ability to relate to practical situations, and their application of technology in information dissemination. At the same time, they are assigned to participate in propaganda activities in residential areas, Party branches, and political meetings to help bring the resolution into practice as soon as possible.

The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee announced that the preliminary round of the 2026 City-level Excellent Speaker and Propagandist Competition will be organized into 9 clusters and completed before May 29, 2026. Each cluster will select 1-2 outstanding contestants to participate in the city-level final round, which is expected to take place in June 2026.

The competition is not only an opportunity for speakers and propagandists to hone their skills and improve the quality of oral communication, but also contributes to innovating methods of conveying resolutions in a way that is relatable, practical, and appropriate to the actual situation at the grassroots level.

This will further strengthen trust and create consensus among cadres, Party members, and the people, contributing to the early implementation of the Party's policies.
