Mr. Pham Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Tu commune, said: In implementing Directive No. 07-CT/TU dated January 12, 2026 of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee on organizing the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026; Directive No. 01/CT-UBND dated January 17, 2026 of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee on organizing the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 in a joyful, safe, and economical manner; and Plan No. 08/KH-SVHTT dated January 20, 2026 of the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Culture and Sports on organizing cultural and sports activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring Festival of the Horse 2026, the People's Committee of Yen Tu commune has developed a plan to organize cultural, information, and sports activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring Festival of the Horse in the commune.
The opening ceremony of the cultural program will take place at 7:30 PM on February 7, 2026 (the 20th day of the 12th lunar month). From the 21st to the 28th day of the 12th lunar month, there will be a folk dance performance every evening. On the evening of the 29th day of the 12th lunar month, there will be a special New Year's Eve cultural program.
The cultural performances over the nine nights at Yen Phong Stadium in Yen Tu commune mainly consisted of songs, dances, and music praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, revolutionary traditions, and songs and dances about spring and life.
In particular, the participation of more than 130 folk dance performances from clubs and folk dance teams of agencies, units, and villages in Yen Tu commune brought a fresh atmosphere to the local cultural and artistic movement.
Ms. Dinh Thi Lan shared: "In the past few decades, this is the first time Yen Tu commune has organized a cultural and artistic program to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year, rich in identity and meaning, attracting the participation of many art troupes and clubs."
Moreover, folk dance troupes and other arts clubs also directly participate and perform for the people, creating a beneficial and practical cultural and artistic playground, contributing to enhancing national unity and enriching the cultural life of the homeland.
Mr. Bui Quoc Toan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Tu commune, happily stated: "The cultural and artistic program combined with the Spring Flower Market of the Year of the Horse 2026 has been running for more than a week now, but the 'popularity' of this program has not diminished at all."
"Every evening, the people gather in large numbers to watch the cultural performances and enthusiastically cheer on the women. Many village roads leading to the stadium are packed with people and vehicles. It can be said that this is one of the programs and events that attracts the enthusiastic attention and support of the entire population," Mr. Toan said.
