Besides accommodation, paragliding services, which are famous in the area, have also seen a decline in customers compared to previous years, with a sudden surge in cancellations of rooms and tickets. Several homestays in Mu Cang Chai reported that, despite being in the peak tourist season during the rice harvest, some places have seen a sharp drop in visitor numbers, up to 60%. Although the roads and scenery haven't been significantly affected by the floods, many tourists are hesitant, leading to a considerable number of cancellations. |
