Mu Cang Chai has long been famous for its majestic terraced fields, including "raspberry hill" and "horseshoe hill" - familiar destinations for tourists every time the rice ripens.
Recently, during a visit to Mu Cang Chai, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thach, a teacher in Khanh Hoa , accidentally discovered in the middle of a terraced field the shape of "two hearts" nested together, relatively clear and balanced.

Tourists can also observe from the “dinosaur spine” viewpoint – a place that is often crowded with tourists checking in. However, this unique image is not known to many people. Photo: Nguyen Duc Thach
The special feature of the “heart” of Mu Cang Chai is the change with the seasons. In the flooding season, the terraced fields sparkle like mirrors, reflecting the blue sky. Photo: Nguyen Duc Thach

When the rice is ripe, both “hearts” shine brightly, standing out against the golden color of the Northwestern mountains and forests. From a high angle, the scenery appears both romantic and majestic. Photo: Nguyen Duc Thach
The “two-heart” rice field is considered a new destination that can be added to the Mu Cang Chai tour, besides the familiar terraced field viewing spots. Photo: Nguyen Duc Thach
