On October 23, Saigon Co.op Distribution Company Limited (SCD) and STC Natural Vina Company handed over goods manufactured in Vietnam for export to the US market.

Immediately following the event, from the Binh Duong distribution center – Saigon Co.op 's main warehouse – two containers of Co.op Select private label goods will be exported to the US market. The goods exported to the US market are domestically produced, carefully selected by Saigon Co.op from the fast-moving consumer goods category, reflecting the unique identity and culinary essence of Vietnam, such as dipping sauces, vermicelli, pho, spices, tea, and coffee… with an order value of nearly $70,000. All these Vietnamese products will be sold at H-mart supermarkets belonging to Hee Chang Group – a renowned South Korean retail group with over 30 years of experience in the US market and more than 100 outlets across the United States. In September 2024, SCD successfully exported two containers to Canada, also under an order from Hee Chang Group. In the last three months of the year, SCD will complete the export of 20 containers to foreign markets. SCD focuses on exporting to the world's largest markets such as the US, South Korea, Japan, Australia, China, and the Middle East. By 2025, SCD plans to export 120-150 containers, with an estimated value of VND 120 billion.

SCD's operations have made a positive contribution to Saigon Co.op's export sector. Accordingly, in 2023, Saigon Co.op exported Vietnamese agricultural and seafood products to the Singapore market with a total export value of nearly 90 billion VND.
