A patriotic product of the disadvantaged community.

In anticipation of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, many handicraft workshops run by people with disabilities have created products imbued with the vibrant red and yellow colors of the Vietnamese flag, reflecting the dedication and pride of these special artisans, affirming their will and love for their country.

These days, the celebratory atmosphere for the September 2nd National Day is spreading to even the handicraft workshops of the disabled community. In Bang Liet Street ( Hanoi ), the "I Am Good" project of a group of disadvantaged workers at the Leather Goods Hospital workshop is busy completing the "Vietnam, Oh Vietnam" collection.

From leftover scraps of leather, they meticulously cut, draw, and assemble them into keychains, glasses cases, shoulder bags, and phone cases printed with the national flag, priced from 300,000 to over 1 million VND. Nguyen Van Phuc, the workshop owner, said that many customers return to place large orders as gifts for friends, business partners, and relatives.

At the corner of Luong Dinh Cua street, Thuong Thuong Handmade workshop, run by a group of people with disabilities, is also working overtime to produce products made from rolled paper, such as business card holders shaped like the red flag with a yellow star, and paintings of Hanoi landscapes, in order to meet customer demand.

Suffering from thalassemia, Ms. Ha Thi Chung (born in 1996) has only been working at the workshop for over a month, but she has already produced many products after just 10 days of training.

The Hospital Leather Workshop is busy producing the "Vietnam, Oh!" collection as part of the "I Am Good" project by a group of disadvantaged people.

Having spent his childhood shining shoes on the streets, Bui Van Khue was introduced to a workshop and became a master craftsman in the production of leather products for the "Vietnam ơi" collection, including keychains and handbags.
