- This is the first time Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa has organized an event for enthusiasts of large-displacement motorcycles from both within and outside the country. Could you please tell us about the scale and highlights of the festival?

Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa has long been a familiar destination for major national and international cultural and sporting events. However, a large-displacement motorcycle festival bringing together thousands of bikers from Vietnam and abroad is truly a first. In terms of scale, the festival features numerous motorcycle clubs from provinces and cities across the country, as well as from countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and China. To date, more than 1,000 bikers from 9 countries and 90 clubs from within and outside the province have officially registered to participate - an unprecedented and impressive number.
The highlight of the opening ceremony is the festival's inaugural night at 8 PM on May 29th, where lights, sounds, music , and skillful motorcycle performances by experts will blend together to create a vibrant and energetic "feast." Notably, for the first time, locals and tourists will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the top 30 Miss Motor contestants – modern women passionate about conquering challenges. Also on the opening night, hundreds of large-displacement motorcycles will participate in a night parade – a first in Vietnam – promising to create a beautiful and unforgettable spectacle along Nha Trang's coastal roads.
During the two main days of the festival (May 29th and 30th), locals and tourists can enjoy top-notch biker performances at two locations: Hon Do area (Pham Van Dong Street, Bac Nha Trang Ward) and Thanh Nien Park (Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang Ward). In addition, a series of attractive side activities are arranged throughout the festival, such as: taking photos with a collection of "beautiful, unique, and rare" large-displacement motorcycles, participating in a giant kite festival, riding camels, visiting OCOP specialty product booths, admiring a parade of 300-1000 motorcycles through the central streets, and learning about famous motorcycle brands and models from around the world...

- With the participation of over 1,000 bikers and many exciting activities taking place simultaneously, how has the organizing committee prepared for security and safety, sir?
Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa has extensive experience in organizing large-scale sporting events, therefore ensuring security, order, and safety for athletes, residents, and tourists is always a top priority. From the planning stage, the Organizing Committee has closely coordinated with relevant departments, agencies, and localities to develop comprehensive plans for security, traffic safety, and food hygiene. The Provincial Police also developed its own plan, coordinating with the Organizing Committee in deploying forces, controlling security, and managing traffic flow throughout the festival. Simultaneously, the health sector has deployed sufficient ambulances and medical personnel to ensure the safety of bikers during each competition segment.
In addition to thorough preparation in terms of personnel, the Organizing Committee also proactively promoted and encouraged clubs and bikers to strictly adhere to regulations on traffic safety, public conduct, and especially noise. This contributed to building the image of a civilized, united, and responsible biker community.

- What is the significance of the Asia-Pacific Motorcycle Festival in the province's sports and tourism development strategy? What long-term value does this event bring to the Khanh Hoa brand, sir?
- Besides the direct values in sports and tourism, organizing this festival also contributes to realizing the Provincial Party Committee's major orientation - building the province into a center for marine sports and a destination for organizing national and international-scale sporting events.
In terms of long-term strategic significance, the festival provides a strong boost to the sports economy and sports tourism; connecting sports with promoting the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa as a "civilized and friendly" destination, while effectively exploiting the advantages of the bay landscape, climate, and existing tourism infrastructure of the province. Through the festival, the image of Khanh Hoa as dynamic, friendly, and safe will be widely disseminated to the domestic and international biker community, laying the foundation to attract more major tournaments in the 2026-2030 period. In particular, the event also stimulates sustainable tourism by attracting athletes, tourists, and biker family members to return for experiences and relaxation, thereby extending their stay and increasing spending for the local economy. This is truly a strategic step to position Khanh Hoa as a "marine sports and event tourism destination" in the hearts of international friends.
