Infrastructure ready for E10 gasoline business.

According to Circular No. 50/2025/TT-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, from June 1, 2026, unleaded gasoline conforming to current national technical standards will be blended into E10 bio-gasoline for use in gasoline engines nationwide. In Tuyen Quang, petroleum businesses have proactively upgraded infrastructure, prepared supplies, and intensified public awareness campaigns to be ready for the new roadmap.

Introducing E10 gasoline into the market is entirely appropriate given the requirements for environmental protection.

Infrastructure is ready.

Following the directives of the Government and the Vietnam National Petroleum Group regarding the implementation of E10 bioethanol fuel business, starting in February 2026, Petrolimex Tuyen Quang Company Limited has developed a roadmap for transitioning from selling conventional gasoline to E10 bioethanol fuel. The company has developed a detailed plan, prepared the necessary infrastructure, and organized training for human resources to support the transition.

Mr. Vu Trong Trung, Chairman of Petrolimex Tuyen Quang Co., Ltd., said that as soon as the Group issued directives and new regulations from the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the company proactively reviewed its entire infrastructure and developed a comprehensive conversion plan to ensure a stable and safe supply and avoid disrupting business operations.

According to statistics from Petrolimex Tuyen Quang Co., Ltd., as of May 19, 2026, the company had completed the conversion of 96% of its gas stations to selling E10 gasoline. Of the 76 gas stations in the company's distribution system, 73 have completed the conversion of their tanks to sell E10 gasoline; the remaining 3 are in the process of replacing their equipment.

Ms. Chu Thi Le Thuy, Head of Sales Department of Petrolimex Tuyen Quang Co., Ltd., shared: "Previously, the stores had been selling E5 RON92 bio-gasoline, so the storage tanks and pumps were basically compatible with E10 gasoline. The main costs incurred were cleaning the storage tanks, replacing gaskets and seals at the tanks and pumps to ensure fuel quality when put into business." Along with preparing the infrastructure, the company also paid special attention to communication to create consensus among consumers. The company has strengthened communication on its website and fanpage, and at the same time required its sales staff to have a thorough understanding of E10 gasoline to directly advise customers.

E10 gasoline is gradually gaining market acceptance.

From the perspective of an automotive business, Mr. Pham Nhat Tan, owner of the Kia Mazda Tuyen Quang showroom, shared that using E10 gasoline with current car models poses no cause for concern. People can rest assured using it according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

As one of the first gas stations in the province to sell E10 gasoline, Gas Station No. 13 has been selling the product for a month now. Mr. Do Quoc Dai, the station manager, said that during the trial period, the station has not received any negative feedback from customers. Initially, many people were concerned about the quality of E10 gasoline, but after receiving detailed explanations, most customers agreed to use it.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, from An Tuong ward, said that she was initially a little hesitant when she heard about switching to E10 gasoline. However, after being advised by the store staff and using it in practice, she found that her vehicle still operated stably, with no significant difference compared to before. According to Ms. Phuong, using environmentally friendly fuel to reduce emissions is a necessary trend, so she is ready to support it.

The synchronized deployment of E10 gasoline throughout the province helps meet the government's fuel conversion roadmap and also contributes to changing consumer habits towards environmental friendliness. Currently, E10 gasoline is sold by petroleum businesses in the province at a price of 23,910 VND/liter.

With the proactive efforts of businesses and the consensus of the people, Tuyen Quang is ready for a new phase in the clean fuel market.
