Industrial production increased slightly.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the industrial production index in May increased by 4.25% compared to the previous month, and by 7.17% compared to the same period last year. The cumulative index for the first five months of 2026 increased by 5.56% compared to the same period last year. Currently, the province has 209 active secondary investment projects, including 83 FDI projects with a total registered investment capital of over 81 trillion VND and over 4 billion USD; and 7 projects investing in industrial park infrastructure development, with a total registered investment capital of over 11.7 trillion VND.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the production and business activities of enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks are relatively stable. Enterprise revenue reached over 14 trillion VND, an increase of 3.91% compared to the previous month; industrial production value reached over 8.5 trillion VND.
