Sancho is in high demand. |
Sancho's contract with MU expires at the end of June. Currently, neither side intends to renew it.
During his time at Manchester United, the English player only made 83 appearances in all competitions, playing a total of over 5,000 minutes, scoring 12 goals and providing 6 assists. His inconsistent performance and various off-field issues gradually led to him losing his place in the team.
In the 2025/26 season, Sancho joined Aston Villa on loan. Although he only scored 1 goal and provided 3 assists in 39 appearances this season, the 26-year-old still showed positive signs in his performance.
According to TNT Sports , Aston Villa are reportedly keen to keep Sancho after he becomes a free agent this summer. Additionally, three other English clubs – Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, and Brentford – are closely monitoring the former Borussia Dortmund star ahead of the summer transfer window.
The biggest obstacle in this deal lies in Sancho's enormous salary. In the 2025/26 season, he is expected to earn around £200,000 per week at MU. Therefore, if he wants to continue playing in the Premier League, Sancho will likely have to accept a significant reduction in his income to seek a fresh start for his career.
Sancho's next move is attracting considerable public attention. Once one of the brightest talents in English football, the 26-year-old midfielder doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of many past English prodigies.
