On the afternoon of April 1st, VPF Company announced the results of the March award voting for the V-League 2025-2026 national football championship.
Accordingly, Hanoi Police FC swept all four awards, including Best Team of the Month, Best Head Coach of the Month (Alexandre Polking), Best Player of the Month (Alan Grafite), and Best Goal of the Month (Doan Van Hau).
Van Hau scored a spectacular goal in Hanoi Police FC's 3-1 victory over Thanh Hoa , in a rescheduled match from round 10 on February 24th. Hau unleashed a shot from nearly 50 meters away when he saw goalkeeper Xuan Hoang advanced.
This was Van Hau's first goal after 6 matches in the V-League this season. He also had one assist. This impressive performance led to Van Hau being recalled to the Vietnamese national team by coach Kim Sang Sik for the FIFA Days in March 2026, alongside Tran Dinh Trong.
Here, Van Hau played in both matches against Bangladesh (friendly) and against Malaysia (Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers). He showed consistent form, helping the Vietnamese national team secure two victories.
Coach Polking, striker Alan, and defender Van Hau are prominent figures who have made significant contributions to Hanoi Police FC's impressive run of form this season. The police team currently leads the V-League table with 41 points, 7 points ahead of second-placed The Cong - Viettel , and is on track to win the championship early.
